Our Day Treatment Program and Outpatient Counseling Services can make a real difference in the life of a young person experiencing emotional or behavioral problems at school, home, and/or the community.
Our ultimate goal is to equip each child and adolescent with the improved skills to function socially and academically, and to provide families with the resources to communicate with each other more effectively.

HALF-DAY DAY TREATMENT: YEAR-AROUND SERVICES
Childynamics provides half day Day Treatment Services to Children and Adolescents with behavioral and emotional problems which interfere with their ability to function in the home, at school, and/or the community. Children attend sessions either in the morning or afternoon. They attend their regular school half days. Individual therapy is provided during the hours of day treatment. Family therapy sessions are offered after hours by appointment.
INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY THERAPY
The Day Treatment Program at Childynamics is a comprehensive service that includes and emphasizes the importance of teaching social and coping skills in a group setting. Childynamics provides individual care to children in weekly individual sessions and weekly family therapy to improve family dynamics and communication.
EVALUATIONS
Childynamics also provides comprehensive evaluations of children and teenagers. The evaluations are provided by our licensed psychologist who meets with the caregiver to obtain background information about the child. The psychologist then meets with the child individually to make a thorough assessment. At the end of the intial evaluation process, the psychologist meets with both the child and the caregiver to provide information about diagnosis based and treatment recommendations. Information about the child's previous therapy, medications, and behaviors in other settings is obtained prior and during the initial evaluation process.
MEALS
Hot food for breakfast or lunch is provided to all clients attending the Day Treatment Program. Snacks are also provided daily.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation services are independent of Childynamics. A list of transportation companies covered by Medicaid can be provided to parents/guardians of children attending our program.
